The Knight

The Knight is “not gaily dressed.” He is wearing a tunic smudged by his armor. He made himself the leader because no one knew where to go.He led them to their destination. He also made sure they were always moving so they would be on schedule and make sure they get there on time. He was always the first one.He made sure everyone was safe on the journey. With all his experience everyone was good with him. His story is leading the group to their destination. He says this journey reminds him of how he used to fight in the war. He wanted to make sure they fulfilled their duty to get to the Grand Canyon and see the sunrise and they did.

The Oxford Cleric

The Oxford Cleric had no fine clothing, but he was a scholar. If he got money from anyone he would buy more books. He is very intelligent from all the books he reads but he doesn’t use that to help himself or anybody else. His story will be about him seeing the Grand Canyon for himself other than reading about it. He sees the Grand Canyon for the first time. He doesn’t bring any of his books so he won’t be distracted. While he is on this journey he hopes he can learn something from it. He is admiring the world’s largest canyon. He sees the different trees, animals, and people. Observing everything around him so he doesn’t miss a thing.

The Squire

The squire is dressed in a short gown with long wide sleeves. They had red and white flowers. His story is about him learning many things on the way from his dad, The Knight. The story he is going to tell is the one his dad told him about him fighting in one of the many wars fought in. The war he fought in was Alexandria. Alexandria is the site of one of the many campaigns that Christians fought against. The Christians fought against groups who were a threat to Europe. The Knight fought with them. He was very honorable and experienced for fighting in all those wars. On this journey he is learning new things about his dad and how honorable he is. He is happy he went on this journey to gain experience, see the sunrise, and learn things from the Knight.

The Nun

The Nun told her story about seeing a deer and it’s baby. She wanted to feed them whatever food she had on her. The deer and the baby didn’t go near her instead they were very cautious but wanted the food. Eventually, the deer and baby got near enough to eat the food. Then she pet their fur and she was so happy. The animals then ran away and she started to cry. Every animal she saw on this journey she always tried to feed them any food she had. While feeding the animals her food she always wiped her hands clean so she had no trace left on her. She carried a mirror with her to make sure she was always looking good. Even after every meal she ate she wiped her face and hands very clean.
